Clap, clap.
Liu Bing clapped his hands to get everyone's attention, then said, "All right, everyone, listen up."
Once he had everyone's attention, Liu Bing continued, "First, let me introduce myself. I'm Liu Bing, the reinforcements Fubuki brought in. You should already know that you were all dead.
"And Fubuki made a deal with me in exchange for the chance to bring you back to life."
"What deal?" When Tatsumaki heard Liu Bing mention his deal with Fubuki, she immediately floated in front of Fubuki, blocking Liu Bing from view.
She was a devoted sister. Although she resented how much less curvaceous she was than Fubuki, she still cared deeply about her.
Besides, she was concerned about what sort of deal Fubuki had made with Liu Bing. Going by the usual tropes in novels and movies, when a woman made a deal with a man, it was generally nothing proper.
Especially a deal that involved bringing people back to life—it sounded like it would come at a great cost. What could Fubuki possibly give up in return? The more Tatsumaki thought about it, the more she felt the deal involved something she didn't want to happen.
She would absolutely not let the deal go through, even if breaking it meant she would die.
Liu Bing smiled at Tatsumaki. She wasn't at full strength right now; she was more like a battle-damaged version of herself. Her green dress was torn in all sorts of places, making her look rather... well, you know.
"My deal with Fubuki is that you..."
Liu Bing paused deliberately.
When Tatsumaki heard that she was the subject of the deal, she was stunned. Was he flirting with her? What did he mean, his deal with Fubuki was her? Was this man's goal to get his hands on her?
Tatsumaki stared blankly at Fubuki's curvaceous figure, then looked down at her own flat, somewhat childish body. Her face flushed despite herself, but mostly she felt a chill of disgust at the thought of some kind of pervert setting his sights on her.
As much as she hated to admit it, Tatsumaki thought that no normal person would pass up a sexy, voluptuous woman in favor of someone who looked like a little girl.
Tatsumaki's gaze at Liu Bing grew even more suspicious.
"...all."
Liu Bing drew out the pause for a moment before finally saying the last word.
Because Liu Bing had led her to the wrong conclusion, Tatsumaki exploded as soon as she heard that word. Did the bastard mean he wanted both sisters? Where did he get that kind of nerve?
Green energy surged around Tatsumaki as she unleashed psychic power even more terrifying than before. "You pervert! Die!"
Liu Bing smiled without moving a muscle, and the psychic power around Tatsumaki simply vanished.
Tatsumaki clearly hadn't expected her powers to disappear without warning. Caught off guard, she dropped straight out of the air.
Fortunately, she hadn't been flying high—she was only about half a meter off the ground—so she didn't fall too badly.
But she stared at Liu Bing in shock. "What did you do?"
"Mm, nothing much. I brought you all back to life, and in return, you're all mine from now on..."
Before Liu Bing could finish, Bang couldn't help saying, "Young man, surely an old man like me isn't necessary!"
"Ah, to be young again. You kids sure do enjoy your wild games." As he spoke, Bang hunched over, doing his best to look old and unsuited for anything so strenuous.
"You old rascal, get serious!" Liu Bing was speechless. Teasing Tatsumaki was all in good fun. But this old man butting in was just gross, wasn't it?
"You're the one who started it!" Even without her psychic powers, Tatsumaki still glared at Liu Bing with her usual haughty anger.
"How was I not being serious? I said I wanted all of you. From now on, you're my workhorses. Got it?" Liu Bing said it all in one breath.
He was worried that Sexy Prisoner, who looked eager to jump in, would get involved too. That bastard really was gay. Liu Bing swore that if he dared to come over and gross him out, he'd make sure Sexy Prisoner's soul vanished on the spot!
Perhaps sensing Liu Bing's murderous intent, Sexy Prisoner remained eager, but showed no sign of stepping forward.
"Mm? You mean we'll be working for you from now on?" Metal Bat narrowed his eyes slightly. He had no interest in becoming somebody's workhorse.
Even in the Hero Association, most of them followed orders only when they felt like it. Now some guy had suddenly declared that they belonged to him, and Metal Bat, young and hot-tempered as he was, was the first to take offense.
Liu Bing nodded, completely unconcerned by Metal Bat's displeasure. "That's right. From now on, you'll all do as I say. That's the price you pay for me bringing you back to life."
As soon as Liu Bing mentioned that bringing them back to life was the price, they were no longer so angry. At first, they had been annoyed at suddenly becoming someone else's property.
But then they remembered that he had saved them, after all, and their anger eased.
"So, one more time: who's for it, and who's against it?" Liu Bing looked at all the S-Class heroes present and asked directly.
"There's no way I'm becoming yours!" Tatsumaki glared at Liu Bing. She was probably the most rebellious person there.
Liu Bing chuckled, then flicked a finger. A stream of emerald energy wrapped around Tatsumaki.
Tatsumaki's pupils contracted. That familiar color, that familiar pulse of power—that was her psychic power!
How could this guy use her psychic power?
Then Tatsumaki felt herself being flipped over, face down with her butt in the air. She immediately had a bad feeling.
Sure enough, the next moment, the emerald psychic power gathered into a huge green hand and smacked her butt.
Tatsumaki's face flushed red. She was old enough to know better, and now someone had spanked her in public! Didn't she have any dignity?
But all she could do was fume helplessly. Her psychic powers had been taken away.
Seeing this, Fubuki hurried over to stop Liu Bing. "Lord Liu Bing, please stop!"
Liu Bing glanced at Fubuki, then tossed Tatsumaki to her before turning to the others. "Anyone else against it?"
"I have to ask: are you going to make us do anything that would endanger society?" Blast spoke up. "If you do, we'd rather you hadn't brought us back to life."
"Don't worry. I'm not going to make you do anything that would endanger society."
After calming Tatsumaki down, Fubuki spoke up to reassure them. "Lord Liu Bing is an ally I asked to help us. He's here to help, and he already took care of that monster just now. So he can't be a bad person."
"That guy just got taken care of?" Everyone present stared wide-eyed, looking stunned. They knew exactly how terrifying that guy had been.
That guy had been like a monster that grew stronger without limit. The longer he fought, the more powerful he became. And he couldn't be killed; every time he died, his power surged several times over.
At first, he had barely managed to trade blows with a C-Class hero. Later, he was taking out S-Class heroes with a single punch.
Only Saitama had been left who could fight him, but they all knew that if the guy kept growing stronger without limit, he might even surpass Saitama.
Hearing that he had actually been dealt with left everyone in shock.
