Background / History

Liu Bing was an ordinary human before being transported to Wa Huang Tian, where he encountered Empress Nuwa, Houtu, Xuan Nu, and Sinu. His thoughts were openly readable to them, and he quickly learned that his body could not endure even a breath of genuine Hong Huang spiritual energy. After his consciousness dispersed in a simulated environment, Houtu ensured his recovery. 2

Unlike previous transmigrators who acted arrogantly and were killed, Liu Bing calmed himself, introduced himself respectfully, and avoided becoming another source of amusement for Nuwa and Houtu. He learned that he was the first transmigrator to arrive in several hundred thousand years. 3

After discovering that his original world was a spiritually barren, artificially created prison-like realm, Liu Bing resolved to return and save it. Nuwa refused to grant him direct immortality, but allowed him to cultivate in Hong Huang instead. 4 5

He spent ten thousand years in Hong Huang, where prominent inhabitants treated him favorably because Nuwa had sent him there. Liu Bing is outwardly approachable and often presents himself as an ordinary young man, but he is notably calm when confronting threats far beyond normal human experience.
