"Come, fight me to your heart's content. You have the power to fight me now." Saitama looked at King seriously, blazing battle intent already ignited in his eyes.
Hearing Saitama's voice and seeing the surging fighting spirit in his eyes, King inexplicably thought of the days he had spent with Saitama.
He was probably the one who understood Saitama best. He knew full well that Saitama had always wanted a battle he could truly enjoy. But no one could give Saitama that, so Saitama's emotions had gradually become more and more muted.
Perhaps only when playing games or snatching up discounted goods would he show a little emotion.
Saitama had also been working hard to keep himself from losing his emotions.
King had wanted to help Saitama too, but he was just an ordinary person. There was nothing he could do except spend more time with Saitama and play games with him. In games, he could at least stir up Saitama's emotions a little more.
Now that he could fight Saitama, he naturally had to let him enjoy himself.
He looked seriously at Saitama. "Saitama, come on!"
Saitama stomped forward and instantly arrived before King. Once again, he threw a completely unadorned punch straight at King's face.
King answered with a punch of his own, refusing to be outdone.
As their fists met, the entire world seemed to shudder violently.
The collision of pure power sent them both flying backward. They slammed into the formation barrier at the edge of the arena.
"Hahaha, this is the battle I've been looking for!" Saitama laughed freely.
King laughed as well. At last, he possessed strength worthy of his rank.
Then the two vanished from where they stood. Not a single figure could be seen in the arena; all that could be heard were muffled, thunderous explosions and shockwaves bursting outward.
They were like tireless machines made for trading punches, their fists crashing madly against each other. There were no flashy techniques, only the ultimate clash of pure fists.
"Gasp!!!" Everyone present sucked in a breath.
This was the "certain amount of power" Liu Bing had mentioned?
Just that small amount of his power could turn an ordinary man like King this powerful in an instant. Then just how strong was Liu Bing himself?
Fubuki watched King and Saitama fight with envy. She quietly edged closer to Liu Bing, reached out, and tugged at his clothes. "Lord Liu Bing, could you grant me some power too?"
Seeing King's combat strength was like seeing an opportunity to surpass her sister.
Of course, more importantly, her sister had also been resurrected by Liu Bing. That meant Tatsumaki had already received power from him as well. If Fubuki did not receive power from Liu Bing, the gap between her and her sister would only grow even wider.
Thinking about how her sister had once crushed her with psychic powers, and could now beat her one-handed even without using them—perhaps she would not even need one hand, perhaps a single finger would be enough—Fubuki desperately wanted power.
Liu Bing glanced at Fubuki. "You're a member of the Chat Group, so you count as my companion. Your future achievements definitely won't be low. But once you're listed, you'll become one of my people. Your strength will be fixed, and you'll have no possibility of further improvement."
Liu Bing did not mention that someone could be removed from the list. After all, he had already added so many people from this world to the Investiture of the Gods. They were enough to change this world's predetermined course and earn him enough points.
There was no need to add Fubuki to the list as well.
Besides, Tatsumaki was already on the Investiture of the Gods as its psychic-power entry. Adding Fubuki would be redundant. It was not worth it.
The Investiture of the Gods actually had another hidden ability: its holder could freely restrict the power of those listed on it and could also wield the powers they possessed.
That was why Liu Bing could use Tatsumaki's psychic powers.
"First, take a good look at the Chat Group's basic introduction. Learn about the Chat Group, then make your decision," Liu Bing reminded her.
Tatsumaki walked over at that moment. She gave Liu Bing a surprised look, clearly not expecting him to act so serious now.
It improved her impression of him somewhat.
She spoke directly to Fubuki. "Little sister, you don't need to be listed. My future has already been set in stone. Don't let yours be fixed too. I'll do everything I can to help you improve."
"Also, what Chat Group? You and him are group members? Since when?"
Fubuki explained how she had suddenly received a notification in her mind that she had joined the Chat Group, and how she had desperately sought help in the group without caring about anything else.
As she explained, Fubuki looked through the Chat Group's basic introduction and told Tatsumaki that it was a platform connecting countless worlds.
Tatsumaki frowned slightly and looked at Liu Bing. "So you're from another world?"
"Mm, that's right." Liu Bing did not deny it.
"Then if you took us in as subordinates, you must intend to have us do something in other worlds." Tatsumaki did not believe someone capable of crossing worlds would take them in only to leave them in this world without a care.
"Mm, exactly. You're very smart." Liu Bing smiled and reached out to pinch Tatsumaki's delicate little face.
Tatsumaki slapped Liu Bing's hand away. If it were not for the vast difference in their height and the fact that her psychic powers had been stripped away, she would have jumped up and kicked him in the face.
Did this bastard think she was a child? She was a mature woman, damn it!
"Just talk. Keep your hands to yourself." Without any power, Tatsumaki could not hit him, so she could only warn him verbally.
Liu Bing chuckled, then said, "What I need you to do is actually very simple: make the world a better place."
"You should now have enough strength to completely wipe out the monsters in this world. Afterward, rebuild the world properly and restore peace and beauty to it."
"Work hard and accumulate more experience managing worlds. I don't like doing management work, so when the time comes, I'll have you handle these sorts of things."
As Liu Bing spoke, he took out Red Will and handed it to Tatsumaki. "This will be very helpful for managing your world. Take it back, study it carefully, and put it into practice."
Liu Bing was starting to feel like setting off a red tide throughout all the heavens. After all, now that he was immortal and invincible, he had to do something meaningful. Life needed goals.
Tatsumaki accepted Red Will, looking somewhat helpless. "I'm not good at this!"
After learning of Liu Bing's plans, her impression of him improved even more. Though this guy was improper and irritating, he was still quite reliable. At the very least, his ideals were noble.
It was just that Tatsumaki was the sort who only knew how to kill, not clean up afterward. What ability did she have to manage a world?
"I don't care about that. If you can't do it, I'll bully Fubuki." As Liu Bing spoke, he pulled Fubuki over and wrapped an arm around her, looking as though he was ready to take Fubuki for a ride if Tatsumaki failed.
Tatsumaki's face darkened. She glared at Liu Bing, then reached out and pulled Fubuki from his arms. "I'll do it properly. Keep your hands to yourself."
Seeing Tatsumaki agree, Liu Bing grinned, then distributed Red Will to the other heroes as well and told them what they would need to do in the future.
While Liu Bing was spreading red propaganda here, in another world, a female figure slowly opened her eyes. A flash of anger passed through her gaze.
"Bastard, don't let me run into you again, or I'll absolutely hang you up in Tortoise-Shell Binding and whip you!!!"
