Uchiha Jin opposed Konoha’s leadership, protected Rin Nohara, and maneuvered the Uchiha and other villages through secret alliances and staged conflict. The stretch ended with Rin rescued and Hiruzen Sarutobi stripping Danzo of his Elder authority and Root leadership.

Arc 9The Kannabi Bridge Mission

Uchiha Jin joined Minato Namikaze in opposing Konoha’s leaders and led a squad toward Kannabi Bridge, while revealing the village’s corruption and the danger surrounding Obito. The arc left Jin heading alone to steal Stone Village’s deployment map as Minato’s team waited near the bridge.

  • Uchiha Jin told Minato Namikaze that Konoha’s leaders planned to destroy the Uchiha and Hyuga Clans, and Minato agreed to join Jin while keeping their plans from Jiraiya.

Arc 10The Kannabi Bridge Crisis

Uchiha Jin defeated a massive Stone and Cloud force, then helped save Rin Nohara from Madara’s plan and secured a secret agreement with Ōnoki. As the war wound down, Jin laid out plans to use trade and a staged Uchiha split to influence the villages, but an emergency within the Uchiha Clan interrupted his preparations.

  • Uchiha Jin used Conqueror’s Haki and Great Fire Annihilation against the Stone and Cloud forces, then survived their combined attacks and wounded the Fourth Raikage before Ōnoki agreed to negotiate.
  • Uchiha Jin secured Stone Village’s plans and the Light-Weight Rock Technique from Ōnoki in exchange for cooperation and Uchiha weapon sales, then returned to Minato Namikaze with news of the battle.

Arc 11Alliances and Old Plans

Uchiha Jin brought Might Duy and Guy into the Uchiha compound while Minato Namikaze defied Hiruzen Sarutobi over Rin Nohara. Jin and Shisui prepared a political maneuver, Jin negotiated with Uchiha Madara over their competing plans, and Minato’s household braced for the threat from Danzo.

  • Uchiha Jin recruited Might Duy to teach him the Eight Inner Gates, paid him generously, and welcomed him and Guy into the Uchiha compound.

Arc 12The Uchiha Schism and Danzo’s Attack

Uchiha Jin used Shisui’s staged defection to consolidate the Uchiha and force Hiruzen Sarutobi to support Shisui’s new branch. Danzo’s attempt to seize Rin Nohara brought Minato into conflict with Hiruzen, who stripped Danzo of his Elder authority and Root leadership.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi rejected Danzo’s request for the Three-Tails and Rin Nohara, then struck Danzo with Enma’s transformed staff.
  • Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura agreed to undermine both Hiruzen Sarutobi and the Uchiha while pretending to serve the Hokage.
