New Dorm Mate

After seeing Liu Yuxin go handle the enrollment forms for other students, Su Hao and Tang Wulin headed toward the Academic Affairs Office together.

Upon entering the Academic Affairs Office, Su Hao and Tang Wulin found a queue of more than ten people outside. They exchanged a glance, stepped forward to ask about it, and, after learning that it was the line for new student class assignments, hurried to join the back of the queue.

By the time Su Hao and Tang Wulin had gotten in line, more people had gradually arrived behind them. The dozen or so people ahead of them soon left, and it was finally their turn.

Then Su Hao heard a crisp voice from inside the Academic Affairs Office. "Next."

Su Hao hurriedly opened the door and walked in. Behind a desk sat a Young Female Teacher dressed in a fitted blue teaching uniform. Her medium-length hair was tied into a neat ponytail, and she had fair skin, a slender neck, delicate features, and an elegant bearing.

There was a large box of school uniforms and assigned keys beside her. Seeing Su Hao enter, the Young Female Teacher smiled and said,

"Hello, student. Please give me your Junior Academy Recommendation Letter and the Metal Token you were given at the school gate."

Hearing the Young Female Teacher's words, Su Hao hurriedly took out his recommendation letter and the Metal Token Liu Yuxin had given him from his Soul Tool and handed them to her.

After receiving Su Hao's recommendation letter and Metal Token, the teacher first examined the Metal Token before placing it in a drawer beside her.

She then picked up the recommendation letter and carefully inspected it. Upon learning that Su Hao had already reached Level 20, she was secretly startled and put the letter away.

After asking Su Hao for his height once more, she took out a key and two sets of school uniforms from the assigned items beside her and handed them to him, saying,

"Student, you've been assigned to New Student Grade One Class One. Here are your Dormitory Key and school uniforms.

You can go take a look at your dormitory now."

After receiving the uniforms and key from the teacher, Su Hao thanked her and left.

After Su Hao came out of the Academic Affairs Office, Tang Wulin was just about to ask how things had gone inside when the teacher called out, "Next."

He had no choice but to go in. After seeing Tang Wulin enter, Su Hao found an open spot not far from the Academic Affairs Office door and waited for him to come out.

Before long, Su Hao saw Tang Wulin emerge from the Academic Affairs Office with a string of keys and two sets of school uniforms as well.

After coming out, Tang Wulin looked around and spotted Su Hao walking toward him from the open area. He quickly went over to meet him, and the two headed toward the dormitory together as Tang Wulin asked,

"Su Hao, which class were you assigned to?"

Hearing Tang Wulin ask which class he was in, Su Hao replied,

"I was assigned to New Student Class One. What about you?"

When he heard that Su Hao had been assigned to Class One, Tang Wulin's gaze dimmed slightly. He then said,

"I was assigned to Class Five. By the way, where's your dormitory? Is it far from mine? Mine is Room 205."

Hearing that Tang Wulin's dormitory was Room 205, Su Hao hurriedly checked his own Dormitory Key before telling him,

"Mine is Room 109. Judging by the room numbers, it shouldn't be far from yours."

As they talked, Su Hao and Tang Wulin arrived in front of the Dormitory Building. Seeing that they had reached it, Su Hao said goodbye to Tang Wulin and went to look for his own room.

Seeing Su Hao leave, Tang Wulin went up to the second floor to find his own dormitory as well.

Su Hao followed the room numbers from 101 onward and quickly found Room 109.

After pushing open the door and entering, he found that it was a four-person dormitory. Only one person had arrived so far. Su Hao greeted him, then began choosing a bed.

In the end, Su Hao chose the Lower bunk on the right. He took out his mattress and Toiletries from his Soul Tool and began arranging them.

Before long, Su Hao had finished making his bed, and the other person had just finished arranging his as well.

The two then introduced themselves to each other.

Su Hao soon learned that the other boy was Song Tianxiang. His Martial Soul was a Wind-Riding Eagle, his Soul Power had reached Level 18, and his family was Moderately wealthy.

Song Tianxiang also learned Su Hao's name, Martial Soul, level, and family circumstances.

After Su Hao and Song Tianxiang waited in the dormitory for a while longer without anyone else arriving, the two went to the Cafeteria together for a meal.

When they arrived at the Cafeteria, Su Hao and Song Tianxiang saw three windows: Class A, Class B, and Class C.

From the new students who had arrived earlier, Su Hao and Song Tianxiang learned that Class A Meal required payment for everything, Class B Meal required payment for some items, while Class C Meal was entirely free.

Su Hao and Song Tianxiang each got a Class A Meal, found a table, and began eating.

The Class A Meal they had gotten that day consisted of Braised Rabbit Meat made from a Soft Bone Rabbit over twenty years old, along with a bowl of soup made from Unknown Bird Soul Beast eggs.

After finishing their meal, Su Hao suggested that Song Tianxiang take a walk around the school before returning to the dormitory.

After hearing Su Hao's suggestion, Song Tianxiang thought it over and agreed. It was a good chance to familiarize themselves with Eastsea Academy and help digest their food.

Thus, Su Hao and Song Tianxiang toured most of Eastsea Academy. Once they had gained a fairly good understanding of the school, they returned to the dormitory.

By then, the other two people in the dormitory had arrived and finished arranging their beds. They were engaged in a heated discussion, but upon seeing Su Hao and Song Tianxiang enter, they stepped forward and introduced themselves first.

Su Hao and Song Tianxiang then learned that their new Dorm Mates were Ma Tianyu and Yang Sen. Their Martial Souls were a Blazing Horse and a Withered Wood Spear, while their Soul Power levels were Level 18 and Level 19 respectively.

Ma Tianyu and Yang Sen also learned the basic information about Su Hao and Song Tianxiang. Then, with the recommendation of the other three, Su Hao became the Dorm Leader of Room 109.

After Su Hao became the Dorm Leader, they continued chatting excitedly. Just as they were having a lively conversation, they suddenly heard Ma Tianyu say,

"By the way, did you know? When I came to the dormitory after registering earlier, some new students upstairs got into a fight. A few who arrived first had finished making their beds and started bullying a new student who arrived later. In the end, that later student beat them up.

"It seemed like they even broke the bed boards. A huge hole was smashed through them all, and the one who got beaten fell straight from the second floor to the first.

"After that, those people were all called to the Academic Affairs Office."

After hearing Ma Tianyu's news, the other two immediately asked for the details.

Su Hao learned that the people involved were Tang Wulin and his Dorm Mate. However, since Tang Wulin had not suffered any losses in the end, Su Hao did not pay the matter any further attention.

And just like that, the day passed quickly.
