"With this device, combined with the healing capabilities of the Senzu Bean, my strength will see a massive boost... though I must be mindful of my physical condition; I can't risk stunted growth from overusing the gravity equipment." Warning himself, Roland stepped out of the spaceship with a surge of excitement.
"By the way, this spaceship can also be turned into a Capsule, right?" It would be quite troublesome if it were inconvenient to carry.
"Of course, that's a basic function," Dr. Brief replied as if it were obvious.
Everything produced by the Capsule Corporation comes with a shrinking function, from small items like refrigerators and televisions to large ones like villas and cruise ships; nothing is excluded. The Capsule Corporation built its foundation on this very technology.
Roland nodded, then looked toward another device not far from the Gravity Spaceship—a spherical object about eight meters in diameter, surrounded by six sturdy metal supports. "What is that?"
Dr. Brief answered, "Oh, that's a simulation device built while developing the gravity room. Its functionality is only about half that of the spaceship's gravity room, but it uses the strongest alloys, so it can withstand high-density energy bombardment."
"Can it also be shrunk into a capsule?"
"Yes."
Roland looked at the Spherical Gravity Chamber with interest. Even if it were just a prototype for rehearsals, it could easily reach 50 times gravity; Dr. Brief's genius was simply unimaginable.
Roland didn't intend to pass up such a good item, so he asked Dr. Brief if he could take the gravity chamber. Dr. Brief didn't care about the prototype at all, so he agreed quickly.
Carefully turning both gravity devices into capsules and tucking them away, Roland's eyes were filled with anticipation for the future.
It was time to return to Planet Vegeta.
Roland muttered to himself.
Come to think of it, he had been away from Planet Vegeta for nearly a year. According to the plot, Planet Vegeta was about to be destroyed by the Frieza Legion. Because he possessed the "Transfer Technique," Roland no longer feared the risk of planetary destruction; at worst, he would just save Sephiria and transfer to another planet.
He had certainly put in a lot of effort for that sister of his; she should reward him, right?
Perhaps by offering herself to him?
Stop, stop. After imagining his sister, who possessed beauty that could topple kingdoms and a smile like a blooming flower, Roland quickly reined in his thoughts. If he dared to think like that, Sephiria would definitely slap him to death if she found out.
After several months of getting along, Roland understood Sephiria's personality quite well. She was a savage, cold, and taciturn woman who only knew how to train. Aside from cultivation and combat, she had no other thoughts; she was a Saiyan with a pure, deep-seated nature.
Having made up his mind to return to Planet Vegeta, he proceeded to bid farewell to Dr. Brief and the others.
"Make sure to contact me with the communicator when you get back! Traveling with you was fun; let's have more adventures in the future." Tights, hearing that Roland was leaving, assumed he was returning to his tribe. Since they were both on Earth, she didn't pay it much mind, said a quick goodbye, and buried herself back into writing her novel.
Tights doesn't seem to know about extraterrestrial civilizations.
I told her I was a Saiyan, but she just took it as a tribe on Earth.
Roland shrugged at Dr. Brief. Tights' imagination was only so big; no wonder she couldn't create popular works. He hoped her new novel would be well-received, though the chances were slim.
In the original story, after Tights met the Galactic Patrol officer Jaco, she wrote a novel based on him, but it wasn't popular. It wasn't until she could travel to various planets and write about those experiences that her novels became highly acclaimed.
Just then, Mrs. Brief walked over, holding Bulma's hand. "Oh my, little Roland is leaving? Auntie will miss you."
Bulma raised her hand, shaking her little light-purple pigtails. "Goodbye! Tell me a story next time."
"Alright, goodbye everyone!" Roland looked at the Brief family, waved at them, then rose into the air. His energy surged, and he quickly turned into a speck of light, disappearing at the other end of the sky.
Finding an uninhabited area, Roland's figure appeared once more.
Planet Vegeta was a vast distance from Earth. Every activation of the "Transfer Technique" consumed an astonishing amount of energy. With Roland's combat power of 520, he couldn't make the transfer in one go, so he needed to stop at several planets along the way.
Locating the direction of Planet Vegeta from the spaceship and noting the transit planets along the route, Roland calmed his breath and focused his mind. The Metamor "Transfer Technique" was activated. A blurry shadow shimmered in place, and Roland had already left Earth.
Compared to the first time he left Planet Vegeta, Roland was much more composed this time. Because he had a solid retreat path, he was full of confidence even when facing the Frieza Legion.
At Kami's Lookout.
Kami noticed Roland's energy signature vanish from Earth and finally let out a sigh of relief. "He has finally left."
During this time, Kami hadn't been able to rest well, constantly monitoring Roland's movements with a tense heart, fearing the boy would cause an unmanageable situation. That guy was so strong that if he really caused trouble, even Kami wouldn't be his match. It was better for such a jinx to leave early.
"I can't see through that child at all... He seems to know many of Earth's secrets. Despite being so young, his strength is terrifying."
Kami withdrew his thoughts, a look of ease appearing on his face. Roland staying on Earth might have kept him from sleeping well for months.
Fortunately, he had left.
Korin was equally relieved by Roland's departure; having been robbed once, he really didn't want to face that child again.
After several stops to replenish his energy, about an hour later, Roland's figure appeared on a planet closest to Planet Vegeta.
Taking a short break on this planet, he took food out of a capsule and ate heartily. Roland stood up and locked onto the position of Planet Vegeta. Judging from the feedback of the "Transfer Technique," the planet on the other side had not yet been destroyed by Frieza.
Roland took a deep breath. "Next is landing on Planet Vegeta. After being away for a year, I wonder what it's become?"
A flicker of excitement passed through his heart, but Roland soon calmed down. Then, the "Transfer Technique" was activated, and his slender figure vanished from the planet.
