The computer immediately drew Meluria and Vegeta from Universe 13.

The contestants from Universe 13 were all Saiyans. In their history, Kakarot had not lost his memory on his way to Earth, so Goku had never been born in their universe. Instead, because of the Saiyans' brutality, Earth had been destroyed early on, and afterward Kakarot, Vegeta, Raditz, and the others had joined forces to kill Frieza and his family.

Aside from Nappa and Raditz, whose strength had not improved much, Kakarot had already become a Super Saiyan, while Vegeta had gone one step further and reached Super Saiyan 2.

But in the Super Dimensional War, where powerful fighters were everywhere, even a Super Saiyan could not gain any advantage. Kakarot, Nappa, and Raditz had each run into powerful opponents and been eliminated. Now only the Saiyan Prince Vegeta remained.
