Marcarita's Little World

Roland gained a great deal from his conversation with Marcarita. At the very least, he learned the method for advancing to the Level 4 Sequence.

Developing a new Divine Technique became Roland's most urgent priority. Speaking of which, the higher one climbed in the Godly Sequence, the harder advancement became. The Level 4 Sequence required one to develop an independent Divine Technique, and he still had no idea what difficulties awaited him at the Fifth-Level Sequence.

As far as Roland knew, one of the requirements for the Fifth-Level Sequence was achieving uniqueness in space, with no alternate-dimensional counterparts existing. At a glance, it was clearly much harder than the Level 4 Sequence. However, Roland had not even reached the Level 4 Sequence yet, so it was not time to consider the Fifth-Level Sequence.

Seeing Roland and Marcarita chatting and laughing as if they were old acquaintances, Vuon and Kahseral of the Pride Troopers suddenly felt that the gap between themselves and true experts was far too great. Just look at Roland—even when facing an exalted being like an Angel, he remained perfectly calm and composed. That ease alone surpassed them by far.

Unmoved by favor or disgrace, calm and unhurried—perhaps this was the detached mindset of a true master!

"Kahseral, Mr. Roland is actually chatting and laughing with Miss Marcarita."

"Yeah. Even Lord Belmod treats him differently."

Although they could not understand what Roland and Marcarita were talking about, how could Kahseral not realize that Roland had an extraordinary background? Even a God of Destruction and an Angel spoke with him as equals. His status was clearly above that of a Candidate God of Destruction!

They did not know what the title Apprentice Dragon God represented. In their minds, the God of Destruction and the Supreme Kai
