That's more like it. A nuclear-level attack is nothing to sneeze at. Satisfied with the destruction he had caused, Roland continued to shout downward, his detector automatically translating his words into the universal language.

"Hand over your spacecraft immediately, or I can't guarantee the next attack won't land right in your city."

"My lord, we truly don't have any spacecraft here," a Mapa officer said, his face pale and trembling with a mournful expression.

Roland narrowed his eyes, a cold glint flashing through his pupils. "None?"

The officer's face drained of color as he looked at Roland in terror. "We... we do, but they are only cargo ships. We Mapa people rarely have contact with other planets, so there are no advanced spacecraft in small cities."

"A cargo ship will do. Is it capable of interstellar travel?"

The man replied bitterly, "It is."

"Hmm." Roland remained indifferent, though he was secretly overjoyed. As long as it could travel between stars, that was enough; he had long wanted to shake off the surveillance of Frieza's forces.

"Do you have an energy detector?" Roland asked again.

Perhaps realizing there was no point in resisting, the man was much more forthcoming this time. "Our detectors aren't very precise."

"Bring me one. Also, take me to inspect the ship you mentioned. Don't try any tricks—you know the consequences. Although you Mapa people aren't lacking in powerful weapons, I assume this city doesn't have any that could stop me. I could completely destroy this city before your reinforcements even arrived."

The Mapa officer looked suffocated, his shoulders slumping. "Please, follow me."

Led by the officer, Roland arrived in front of a medium-sized ship. It was over thirty meters long and eight meters high, shaped like an ellipsoid. Because it was used for cargo, it possessed a massive hold.

"My lord, this is the ship. It is the only interstellar vessel here."

Roland was satisfied at a glance. He didn't care about the ship's design or performance, as long as it could get him off this planet. "Remove all tracking functions from the ship. I don't like being monitored."

The officer said, "The ship's facilities are all controlled by the core computer. You can choose to disable the tracking function yourself."

After roughly understanding the ship's capabilities and obtaining a simple energy detector from the man, Roland waved his hand to dismiss the Mapa people. He boarded the ship, activated the operating system, and soon, with the assistance of the core computer, the cargo ship slowly lifted off.

It quickly departed the Mapa city amidst the sighs and laments of the officer.

In truth, these Mapa people were lucky. If the Saiyan who had arrived on Planet Mapa had been anyone else, a bloody and ruthless massacre would likely have begun long ago.

Of course, Roland himself didn't know if Frieza would send someone else after he left to eliminate the Saiyan threat.

The ship soared through the sky, returning to the spot where Roland had originally landed on Planet Mapa in the blink of an eye.

On the dried-up riverbed, the milky-white spherical pod remained buried deep in the impact crater. Because the climate here was arid, even after sitting in the open for over a month, the surface of the pod was only covered in a light layer of dust, which did not affect its internal functions.

Roland spent the better part of the day copying all the planetary data from the pod, including the coordinates for Earth, and transferring everything to the cargo ship.

As evening approached, starlight began to appear in the quiet night sky.

Roland lay comfortably on the flat ground, which resembled an African savanna, with a campfire crackling beside him. A piece of meat from a recently hunted animal roasted over the flames. With the ship, food, and his next destination secured, he only needed to make final preparations before he could finally escape the tracking of Frieza's forces.

Thinking of this, his life felt full of hope. The sense of urgency he had felt upon first arriving in the Dragon Ball world and realizing he was on Planet Vegeta finally vanished.

"The cargo hold of this ship is huge. I can store plenty of food. I'll go prepare supplies tomorrow and fill all that space."

With this plan in mind, Roland jumped onto the roof of the ship and leaned back, supporting himself with his hands.

He looked up at the night sky. In the vast sea of stars, the Milky Way flowed like a sheer veil from the northeast to the southwest. The stars were brilliant and crystalline, twinkling like diamonds scattered across the night.

"Truly beautiful!"

Roland smiled, lay down on the roof of the cargo ship, and drifted off to sleep before long.

The next day.

The sun was bright and the weather pleasant.

Warm sunlight spilled onto him, and the gentle heat woke Roland. After a simple breakfast, he began the work of gathering enough food. He flew back and forth across the savanna, each time carrying beasts several times larger than his own body.

It was fortunate that no one else was around, or they would have been terrified by his immense strength.

After a flurry of activity, the spacious cargo hold was piled high with edible meat and vegetables, which he then stored in separate compartments. Naturally, drinking water was also essential. Clapping his hands together, Roland looked at his work with satisfaction, then pressed the control button to have the core computer regulate the internal temperature.

Once finished, Roland took a deep breath. He looked at the Planet Vegeta pod with complex emotions, then fired an energy wave into it. With a loud boom, he completely destroyed the pod, then crushed the energy detector in his hand.

This was his way of making a clean break with Planet Vegeta.

From now on, no one would be able to find him.

He went to the main cockpit of the cargo ship, his spirits high, and gave the order to the computer: "Ship, lift off immediately. Set course for the destination—Earth."

"Beep!"

"Command accepted. Retrieving coordinates for 'Earth' from the database. Coordinates confirmed. Executing flight mission."

"Destination: South of the North Galaxy, Solar System, Earth! Estimated flight time: six months."

"Initiate departure?"

"Depart!"

Roland gave the order heroically and leaned back in his seat, looking ahead.

The ship slowly ascended, then shot through the atmosphere of Planet Mapa. A sudden downward force pressed against him, and in the next second, the blue sphere of Planet Mapa gradually receded into the distance.

After a while, the hazy light and shadow disappeared from his sight entirely.

At this moment, a smile touched the corners of Roland's mouth as he looked forward to the beginning of his journey to Earth.
