An Encounter with Kushina

Flying Thunder God was damn hard!

The miserable Bai Yue frantically clawed at his hair!

"Let me get some air first~ Otherwise, I'll suffocate sooner or later!" Having given up on himself, Bai Yue took a moment to calm down.

"Hm? What's going on?!" Not long after leaving the courtyard, Bai Yue saw Clan Members busily decorating their houses and immediately grew curious. He stopped one unlucky fellow to ask.

"Young Master Bai Yue~ Lord Hiashi is getting married! We're setting up the venue." The Clan Member's answer left Bai Yue stunned!

What the hell?! Hyuga Hiashi was getting married?! How did I not know?!

Did I forget about it?!

Whatever, why was I thinking about this pointless stuff?!

All I needed to know was that Hinata was about to be born!

"Hmm~ Is there something else I've forgotten?!" Rubbing his chin, Bai Yue began to think.

"Fuck! I remember now! I'm about to start at the Ninja Academy! I need to learn the Shadow Clone Jutsu fast, or I'll be the one going to school!!" Remembering that the Ninja Academy would soon begin classes, Bai Yue jolted upright!

He had no interest in going to the Ninja Academy to play house! Producing a Shadow Clone would already be doing Minato Namikaze a favor!

Not wanting to attend school, Bai Yue immediately turned around and headed back! He had to learn it before classes started!

After a chaotic bout of training, Bai Yue looked at his Shadow Clone with satisfaction!

"Going to the Ninja Academy will be up to you from now on!" Bai Yue happily patted the Shadow Clone on the shoulder!

"Alright! I guarantee I'll complete the mission!" the Shadow Clone answered without the slightest hesitation!

That surprised Bai Yue somewhat.

In his view, the Shadow Clone Jutsu was, in a sense, a special Ninjutsu that combined Yin-Yang Release with a Ninja's will.

Though it had become commonplace, it truly was an extremely powerful technique!

However~ since the technique incorporated one's personal will, a Shadow Clone's temperament and thoughts were basically no different from the Main Body's. The only difference was that the Shadow Clone knew it was a clone and didn't care whether it lived or died. As an embodiment of will, it would also absolutely support the Main Body.

So~ logically speaking! Since he himself did not want to go to school, there was no way his Shadow Clone should have agreed so readily.

"You agreed that easily?!" Bai Yue asked directly.

"Uncle, the child in your house is holding something dangerous~"

"Huh?! Ayame!" Hearing that, Ichiraku did not doubt Bai Yue for a moment and rushed over in panic.

Snatching the scissors from Ayame's hand, Ichiraku broke out in a cold sweat. His precious daughter had almost gotten hurt.

"Thank you, Young Master Bai Yue." Ichiraku hurriedly thanked him.

"It was nothing. No need to thank me." Bai Yue waved him off, then continued eating, though he kept watching Ayame from the corner of his eye.

Come to think of it, Ichiraku's family was also the most typical kind of commoners in the Ninja World. They did not even have a surname.

Bai Yue had wanted to ask why Ichiraku did not let Ayame become a Ninja. After all, he might just be an ordinary commoner shop owner, but his connections were insanely broad.

From the Third Hokage to the Seventh Hokage, along with the direct lineages of every Hokage and even the final boss of the first arc, this guy had practically caught every Big Shot born in Konoha in one net!

But when the question reached his lips, Bai Yue swallowed it back down.

He slowly savored the rather good ramen.

"Eh! Little Bai Yue! What a coincidence!" A loud, boisterous voice rang out.

"Hello, Master's Wife~" The newcomer was none other than Kushina, whom he had not seen in a long time.

"Hmph! You brat! Why haven't you come to my house in so long?!" Kushina asked unhappily.

"Master's Wife~ I'd feel awkward going over to ask you two for guidance during this period." Bai Yue rolled his eyes. What decent person would visit a newlywed couple's home every day for no reason?

Was he really that tactless?!

"How is that awkward?!" Kushina reluctantly accepted Bai Yue's "good intentions," and her tone softened.

"Uncle Ichiraku, one bowl of Miso Ramen." After ordering, Kushina sat down and said gloomily, "Ever since Minato became Hokage, he has even less time to spend with me than before. Minato is just too busy..."

Well, obviously?!

Looking across all the Hokage, aside from the unreliable First Hokage and Fifth Hokage, who had others handle some unimportant work for them, which other Hokage had been idle?!

Naruto had been so busy he even shaved his head into a buzz cut!

With Minato Namikaze's serious personality, all he could do was work hard to be a diligent corporate-slave Hokage.

Bai Yue could already picture Minato Namikaze sitting at a desk buried beneath mountains of documents, writing furiously.
