After several centuries, nearly a millennium of continuous development, the Black Giants—a unique hybrid elemental lifeform—had multiplied and grown into a terrifyingly vast race on the Purgatory Sulfur Plane.

Their total population had long since reached the ten billion Benjamin had anticipated.

This immense base, coupled with the "social attributes" and faint spirituality bestowed by the Incense Divinity Path, meant that the Black Giant Priest mutants, once occurring at a probability of merely one in ten million, had now surpassed a thousand in number.

Every priest began at the level of a Level 6 lifeform and possessed exceptional intelligence. They were the backbone of managing the race, operating the divine path, and assisting research.

Yet the intensity and nature of war determined that more was not necessarily better.

They were facing the coming Coordination War among wizards, one that might gather the most elite forces of all three major factions.

The survival rate of low-level units was worrying; they might even become a tactical burden.

Thus, when assembling his forces, Benjamin made a clear selection: only Black Giant units with combat power at Level 5 and above would be recruited.

After leaving behind sufficient Black Giant Priests and large numbers of Level 4 Black Giants to maintain the basic operation, daily management, and defense of the Incense Divinity Path on the Purgatory Sulfur Plane, Benjamin took away the finest military strength of this race.

First came eight hundred Black Giant Priests.

Each was equivalent to a Level 6 spellcaster, proficient in group enhancement, battlefield control, energy coordination, and spells.

There were exactly one million Level 5 Black Giant warriors.

These were elites who had undergone brutal selection and targeted training. Their physiques were formidable, their battle instincts ferocious; they were the main force for charging into battle and wearing down
