You're Actually a Pretty Nice Guy!

The security office was a mess, and the leftover instant noodle cups gave off a sour stench.

Lin Baici jumped when he heard Sannomiya Airi scream.

"What's wrong?"

Lin Baici immediately took two long strides and rushed in front of Sakura Girl. As he reached for the mask, he asked her, "Do you have any sisters?"

Lin Baici was puzzled. He'd thought it would be a huge hassle and that he'd need some special method to take off the mask. But he'd removed it from Sannomiya Airi's face with ease.

Lin Baici froze for a moment, then realized what was going on.

Sakura Girl was playing a prank!

She hadn't even put the mask on her face!

"Are you mad?"

Sannomiya Airi looked up at Lin Baici and lightly kicked his shin with her right foot.

The wooden clogs felt

a little hard!

"Lame!"

Lin Baici tossed the mask at Sannomiya Airi.

"Ah, you hurt me!"

Sannomiya Airi pouted.

The mask hit Sakura Girl in the chest. Lin Baici hadn't done it on purpose; they were standing so close that tossing it casually was bound to hit her there.

Lin Baici ignored Sakura Girl.

"Hehe!"

Sannomiya Airi hurried after him. "If it's you, Lin Jun, I don't mind if you hurt me!"

"After all, I just confirmed that you still care about me!"

When something this dangerous happened, most people would hang back and wait to see what happened. Not Lin Baici. He'd rushed over to help without worrying that the contamination might affect him.

Sannomiya Airi had done that partly because she liked playing pranks, and partly to test Lin Baici.

And he hadn't disappointed her!

He was a good man she could trust!
