Background

Gu Qingqiu is the only daughter and heir of Gu Liancheng, chairman of Minsheng Group. The Gu family is among Hong Kong Island’s foremost families; because she was frail and sickly from childhood, her father kept her largely out of the public eye and she spent much of her early life recuperating at the family’s Green Island villa. 355 962
