High in the sky, Hoopa Unbound, with its enormous braids, curved horns, and long whipping tail, laughed wildly.
Purple light flashed in its eyes, and an incomparably evil aura radiated from its entire body.
Six enormous Golden Rings detached from its arms and floated behind it. These were the spatial rings it used to summon and transport objects.
They were powerful enough to even drag over the Creation Duo. (Groudon: And yet everyone still only cares about me.)
"Hoopa, stop it already!"
"Don't keep fooling around! We won't ask you for anything anymore."
"We'll play with you properly."
Not long after Hoopa appeared, the twenty-odd Beast Tamers still remaining in Desert City rushed toward the city walls with their Pokémon.
They shouted urgently.
Among them was Ziyuan, the girl Fang Yuan had encountered before. Though her combat power was rather weak, there was nothing else she could do now.
Because of Hoopa's threat, many Beast Tamers capable of Wilderness Survival had fled. Only they and the ordinary citizens remained in the city now.
If Hoopa continued causing trouble and no one stopped it, this only human settlement in the area would likely be completely destroyed.
"Aren't we playing right now?"
Hoopa did not care about any of that. It had discovered that the game of summoning Pokémon to fight was far more entertaining than eating, drinking, and sleeping every day.
