A summer morning in Devon.

The faintly cool morning breeze swept across the fields outside Ottery St Catchpole Village, crossed Weasel Mountain, and stirred the vast thriving reed beds beyond it into rolling waves.

The residents of Ottery St Catchpole Village had always believed there was nothing here but reeds and wilderness.

But the wind knew that a wizarding family lived in seclusion amid those vast reeds.

It had a fairly large garden, and the pond within it rippled as the reeds swayed.

The main building was a towering house that looked as though it might collapse at any moment. Only the first floor appeared sturdy and orderly. Though the paint was old, it had been well maintained, and a wooden sign engraved with the words "The Burrow" hung by the door.

It seemed to tell of how, more than twenty years ago, a young couple had chosen to settle here and placed all their passion for life and hopes for warmth in that little first-floor home.

But life's surprises had clearly far exceeded their expectations. As they had more and more children, the house had been built higher and higher.

Until it became the strange sight it was today!

At the top floor of The Burrow, the attic once occupied by a Ghoul a few years ago had now been renovated. Rows of medicinal material shelves stood against the walls, Piled Full of boxes, bottles, and jars, making the room messy and cramped. Only a patch of open space had been Cleaned in the middle of the attic.

A simple Lab Bench stood there, with all kinds of equipment needed for brewing Potions arranged in neat disorder. The fire burned beneath the Cauldron, where the potion bubbled away.

Before the Cauldron stood Vaughn Weasley, his red hair bright as he carefully finished processing the medicinal materials and checked the heat of the potion once more.

"Dittany, African Tree Snake Skin... Hmm, and just a little Fairy Wings..."

Vaughn lowered the fire and waited for the Cauldron to cool before dropping in the last ingredient in his hand.

"Finally, add Fluxweed to give the Beauty Potion pliability..."

He muttered as he carefully watched the changes in the Cauldron. As the Fluxweed dissolved, the temperature steadily fell. When the final bubble burst, a wondrous reaction took place inside the pot.

The once thick, pitch-black potion swiftly changed from murky to clear, like freshly melted rock sugar syrup before it had caramelized, giving off a sweet, delicate fragrance.

"Success!"

Vaughn hurriedly picked out a box of bottles from the seemingly chaotic medicinal material shelves. He waved his old Wand, levitated the potion, and filled the bottles one by one.

Finally, he carefully attached his handwritten labels:

[Vaughn's Beauty Potion (Wrinkle-Removing Type)] [Apply externally and massage in. Smooth away your wrinkles and restore healthy, firm skin.]

After finishing everything, Vaughn stretched hard. With the satisfying crack of his bones, he looked through the attic window at the reeds swaying like waves in the morning breeze and the sky gradually brightening on the horizon, feeling dazed for a moment.

It had been eleven years since he had transmigrated into this world. Since his birth, he had learned that his surname was Weasley and that he had five older brothers named Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, and George.

And that his twin younger brother, whom he had kicked at birth and caused to be born five minutes later, had been named Ronald Bilius WeasleyRon for short.

How could Vaughn not know what world he had transmigrated into?

Harry Potter...

Although eleven years had passed, his memories of his previous life remained fairly clear because he often recalled them.

But after living in this world for so long, the past had inevitably begun to fade.

Vaughn shook his head, no longer dwelling on it, and silently called out:

"System!"

With that thought, a panel invisible to everyone else appeared before his eyes:

[Host: Vaughn Weasley] [Magic Power Level: 370 (an ordinary adult Wizard has 500)] [Talents: Charms 7, Dark Arts 6, Transfiguration 7, Potions 10, Herbology 6, Divination 2 (maximum value: 10)] [Spells: Occlumency LV5 (MAX), Shield Charm LV3 (2/8), Disarming Charm LV2 (2/4), Levitation Charm LV2 (0/4), Petrifying Charm LV2 (0/4), Fire Charm LV2 (1/4), Light Charm LV2 (0/2)...] [Potions: Draught of Joy, Energy Potion, Blood Replenishing Potion, Hair Softening Potion, Hair Growing Potion, Beauty Potion (Master level, includes multiple types of recipes)...] [Reputation Points: 12]

This system had awakened when Vaughn was born.

Having read the novels and watched the movies, Vaughn knew full well that the future would become increasingly dangerous. The fact that he had not simply given up the moment he was born and lain flat until death was, admittedly, largely thanks to the courage the system gave him.

Vaughn glanced at the words [Potions 10] in the talent section of the System Panel. Even after seeing it countless times, it still gave him the satisfying feeling of curing an obsessive-compulsive disorder.

All his other talent levels had come with his birth. Only "Potions" had come from the gift package granted when the system awakened—max-level Occlumency, and one randomly selected talent raised to its maximum value!

Over the past eleven years, through gradual exploration, Vaughn had come to understand the function of the so-called Reputation System. So far, it had issued no quests, had no shop, and offered no lottery draws.

Its core function was exactly as its name suggested: every month, it settled Reputation Points based on how widely Vaughn's name had spread!

Reputation Points could be used to increase spell levels. The numbers in parentheses in the system's spell list indicated the number of Reputation Points needed for a spell to reach the next level.

Depending on a spell's difficulty, the Reputation Points required would increase or decrease accordingly.

Of course, spells could also be leveled up through personal practice, but that required extensive training and talent.

After figuring out the system's function, Vaughn was glad that the random max-level talent from his "beginner's gift package" had landed on "Potions."

There was no denying that Potions was profound and extensive, but its barrier to entry was not high. As long as one had ingredients, a recipe, and a Cauldron, any Wizard could get started. Some simple recipes did not even require waving a Wand.

Among all branches of magic, none was more suited to a Young Wizard like Vaughn, who did not even have a Wand.

Vaughn was very cautious by nature.

He knew that both his identity as a Transmigrator and the existence of the system were enormous secrets. When he was young, he had never tried to highlight anything unusual about himself.

It was not until he was four that Vaughn began building his "genius" persona, completely crushing Ron in foundational subjects such as vocabulary, writing, and drawing.

Then, at the age of seven, he gradually brought his "genius" persona into his faithful field of Potions!

Starting with the simplest potions, four years had passed. From initially asking Bill and Charlie for guidance in confusion to improving recipes on his own, Vaughn had become a somewhat well-known Potioneer.

In Beauty Potion alone, the essays he had published and the various improved types of beauty potions he had developed had practically made him the Wizarding World's "Beauty Master" and "Friend of Women"!

As for why he specialized in beauty potions...

There was no other reason—they were easy to make famous, and they sold well!
