Harry's crisis was temporarily averted. But with several people circling around him, he had no way to break free and check on the Golden Snitch.
Ron finally stopped locking onto Harry through his binoculars.
However, while watching the Quidditch struggle on the other side, he happened to spot Snape in the Slytherin stands.
"Merlin, what's that old bat doing there?"

"Professor Snape!"
Hagrid gave a short laugh, then quickly caught himself and said sternly, "Ron, don't call a professor that. Though he really is... Anyway, Dumbledore trusts him!"
"I don't trust him. Look at the way he's glaring at Harry. If he gets the chance, I wouldn't be surprised if he casts a Jinx on him!"
In midair, the restrictions on Harry continued, growing even more chaotic!
Fred clearly could not take on two Slytherins alone, so George had to come over to help. But Flint and Pucey seemed determined; no matter how the twins provoked them, they refused to leave Harry alone.
The four of them tangled together, turning Harry's field of vision into a complete mess.
Worse still, he suddenly felt as though his broom had gone out of control. It bucked and twisted from side to side, as if it no longer wanted to carry a rider.
Harry's face went deathly pale. He clamped his knees and hands tightly around the handle.
Far away, Vaughn used the Bludger to disrupt Gryffindor's offense once more. Glancing at Harry, his expression turned strange.
"Socket Man made his move after all? How much does he hate Harry..."
