Tang Sect Heir

Tang Ya was born and raised in Heaven Dou City, at the Tang Sect's later headquarters. About ten years before her return, the Iron Blood Sect raided the Tang Sect, murdered her parents, and seized its estate; Tang Ya escaped and carried the sect's legacy forward. 441

While hunting in the Star Dou Great Forest with Beibei, she found the unconscious Huo Yuhao and immediately suggested recruiting him into the Tang Sect. Huo Yuhao later received the sect's annual Shrek Academy admission slot. 51 54

Tang Ya met Xu Zihuang during the same period. He saved her from a Thousand-Year Cave Spider and helped her obtain its Soul Ring, allowing her to enter the Soul Elder realm. She remained grateful for his assistance despite his refusal to join the Tang Sect. 55 57

Cultivation Struggles and Bloodline

Despite her optimism, Tang Ya became increasingly discouraged in Shrek Academy's fifth year. Her ordinary Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul left her unable to keep pace with her peers, and her Soul Power stagnated for over a month. 208

Her determination showed when she insisted on absorbing a nearly five-thousand-year Man Faced Demon Spider Soul Ring. The ring backlashed severely, but the crisis stimulated the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline hidden within her. The bloodline purified the ring's violent will and enabled her absorption, though her Martial Soul reverted to Blue Silver Grass afterward and she collapsed unconscious. 239 240

Rebuilding the Tang Sect

After entering the Inner Court, Tang Ya and Beibei took responsibility for the rebuilt Tang Sect. Their progress was limited: the sect had only Tang Ya, Beibei, and Huo Yuhao as members, while its sole product—a Level 3 Soul Guidance Cannon—could not find a market. 292 343

Xu Zihuang sought a leaf from the true body of the Blue Silver Emperor to help Tang Ya complete her Martial Soul evolution. After he delivered the Blue Silver Emperor vine to her, Tang Ya absorbed it with Beibei's assistance; her Blue Silver Grass transformed into the crystalline blue-and-gold Blue Silver Emperor. 434 436 440

With her new strength, Tang Ya returned to Heaven Dou City to reclaim the Tang Sect's former home. She destroyed the Iron Blood Sect's plaques, imprisoned Tie Li, Tie Tang, and two elders with Blue Silver Cage, then killed Tie Tang with Thorn Rain. 441

When Tie Li broke free and attacked her, Tang Ya used the evolved Nightmare Fang to bind him and vowed to make him suffer for his role in her parents' murder. 442
