Its eyes were red, and it looked vicious. Drool dripped from its mouth, and blood still stained its body.
"Not good! It's a modified super-sized sea beast!" Lin Taichu shouted. "Everyone, get ready! It's coming toward the dock!"
The guards immediately grabbed their weapons and prepared for battle. When the super-sized sea beast saw the people by the dock, it let out a roar and crawled toward them.
Watching the sea beast draw closer, Aron said to Lin Taichu, "That thing is too big. Our spears and arrows might not be able to hurt it. What do we do?"
Lin Taichu stared at the sea beast's shell and thought for a moment. "We'll split into two teams. One team will shoot arrows at its eyes to draw its attention. The other will circle behind it and stab its mouth with spears!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the super-sized sea beast had crawled to within several dozen meters of the dock. It raised a huge pincer and swung it toward the dock.
Fortunately, Lin Taichu reacted quickly. He pulled Aron aside, and the tongs smashed into the dock, shattering its wooden planks and sending splinters flying.
"Quick, follow the plan!" Lin Taichu shouted.
The guards immediately split into two groups. One group raised their bows and fired at the sea beast's eyes.
Although the arrows did not pierce its eyes, they caused the sea beast enough pain to make it roar, drawing its attention away.
Taking the opportunity, the other group of guards circled behind the sea beast, raised their spears, and thrust them toward its mouth. But the beast reacted swiftly. Sensing people behind it, it swept its tail and flung several guards away.
The guards who had been flung away hit the ground hard and spat out blood.
