"Revenge?" Snake Woman sneered. "You think you can kill me? Those sea beasts just now were only meant to buy me time. The truly formidable one is still to come."
After saying that, Snake Woman pulled a black whistle from her robes and blew it. The whistle let out a piercing, ear-splitting sound.
Lin Taichu's heart tightened. He had no idea what trick Snake Woman was about to pull, so he watched his surroundings warily, ready for any sudden danger.
Soon, a secret gate at the back of the stone chamber opened, and a massive sea beast emerged from within.
The beast looked like a giant sea turtle, but its shell was covered in spikes. It could spit fireballs from its mouth, and its eyes glowed red. It looked even more ferocious than the sea beasts from before.
"This is my ultimate creation, the Blazing Flames Turtle," Snake Woman said proudly. "Not only can it spit fireballs, but the spikes on its back can also launch poison needles. You are no match for it!"
The Blazing Flames Turtle roared at Lin Taichu, then opened its mouth and spat a fireball at him. Lin Taichu quickly dodged to the side. The fireball struck the rock wall beside him, instantly scorching it black and sending up clouds of dark smoke.
"Looks like you do have some skill if you can dodge its fireballs," Snake Woman said with a smile. "But how many times can you keep dodging?"
The Blazing Flames Turtle spat several more fireballs at Lin Taichu. He kept evading them, but the stone chamber was small to begin with. Before long, he was forced into a corner with nowhere left to run.
Lin Taichu could only activate the spell he had recited earlier. As he chanted, a black shield appeared
