Background

Ling Xi is a transmigrator raised within the Ling Clan's territory. His parents died before the story's opening, leaving him to study at the Clan Academy with a lowly First-grade Dou Di Bloodline. Although bloodline rank determines status among the ancient races, Ling Xi possesses exceptional Soul Power and cultivation talent. 1 2

At age eleven, he awakened his First-grade bloodline at the Bloodline Clan Tablet and received the system's first reward: the Ninth-grade Mysterious Origin Saint Sculpting Pill. Made using a Dou Saint expert and a Bodhi Heart, the pill improves his aptitude to potentially reach Dou Saint in the future. 1 2

Ling Xi is respectful toward elders and teachers, particularly Ling You, but he is not submissive when his interests or beliefs are challenged.
