"I'm terribly sorry, Your Excellency Ishmael. This mirror isn't usually like this..."
Ikanser said awkwardly.
"No matter."
Luther said calmly, raising his head to stare blankly at the ceiling.
There, an ancient silver mirror floated in the air. The black gemstones at either end resembled eyes, making it seem mysterious and strange.
The Magic Mirror, Arrodes.
"Whoosh, whoosh!"
At that moment, Arrodes darted wildly around beneath the ceiling as though it had suddenly caught a virus. Its rippling mirror surface flickered incessantly as line after line of blood-red words frantically appeared upon it: "Bit Liod was still bathing with his mother at the age of twelve!"
"Borgina Sconter's ideal type is a mechanical maid. He joined the Machinery Hivemind precisely to create his own dream lover!"
"Miles Mili's material for self-release last night was..."
The names on the mirror all belonged to members of the Machinery Hivemind present. In other words, their embarrassing secrets were being wildly exposed.
"Stop!"
"I'm begging you, don't look!"
"Damn it, it's flying too high..."
Beneath the mirror, a group of Machinery Hivemind members shouted in despair, trying to catch Arrodes on the ceiling. The scene was chaotic for a time.
How had things turned out like this...
Ikanser pressed a hand to his forehead helplessly.
According to the original plan, he had intended to use the Magic Mirror to verify matters while questioning Ishmael about the case. Yet the moment he touched the mirror surface in front of this senior deacon of the Church of Evernight, Arrodes suddenly went mad. It floated to a height no one could reach and continuously spilled the secrets of everyone present.
Ikanser did not know what had happened, but Luther did.
The Magic Mirror Arrodes was extremely afraid of him and simply dared not reveal anything about him
