In the anticipant gazes of the people of the City of Silver, Lovia drained the Potion in one gulp.
If she could successfully advance, the City of Silver would gain an even stronger combatant, which would greatly aid the subsequent investigation of the Giant King's Court. That was the hope of them all, their expectation of leaving this curse-ridden land and reaching a world of light.

The shadows slowly receded, condensed, gathered, and covered Lovia's body, forming a suit of heavy black armor that made her aura increasingly terrifying.
Darkness, filthy darkness, darkness that seemed capable of devouring everything, manifested upon the elder's body.
Lovia's face was hidden behind her visor, and a chilling Red Light flickered where her eyes should have been.
It seemed to be going fairly smoothly... right?

The black visor covering her face suddenly split apart, then shattered into fragments that fell to the ground.

Lovia had originally been dazed from drinking the Potion, but she seemed to regain some of her rationality at that moment. With pain and confusion, she asked this question.
"Crash!"
The next instant, the armor that had formed around her suddenly collapsed completely, scattering across the square. The black armor quickly transformed back into shadows, and countless black mouths emerged on their surface. All those mouths prayed wildly, "Praise the Lord, praise the Lord!"
