Colin looked at the silver-haired woman whose spirituality was overflowing and said in a deep voice, "Even though you successfully advanced, because of the abnormality that occurred midway, you still need to be confined in the dungeon for observation for a period of time."

"No problem."

Black Knight Lovia responded calmly. "Rather, this is exactly what I hoped for..."

The two leaders of the Council of Six remained so composed, but the ordinary team members involved could hardly suppress the joy in their hearts.

After cheering and celebrating for a while, they gradually calmed down and began clearing up the scene.

The cages holding the monsters had mostly been damaged during the ritual, but such losses were nothing before this great victory. Everyone gathered the materials that could be salvaged and returned to City of Silver in a grand procession.

Once they returned, another round of celebration naturally followed.

Due to their unique environment, the residents of City of Silver were more closely connected than most. The entire city-state rejoiced at the news, completely unaware that the person they were praising—Elder Lovia—had already been taken to the lowest level of the round tower.

"The balance has been broken."

Before the dark dungeon, Chief Colin suddenly spoke in a low voice.

Lovia turned back to glance at him.

Though they had never confirmed each other's thoughts, there had always been an unspoken understanding between them.

Lovia and Derrick could both establish contact with forces beyond City of Silver, representing two separate hopes for the city. Chief Colin Iliad had hoped that the two could restrain one another, allowing City of Silver to maneuver between them until one side increased its offer enough to provide genuine help.
