Above the Gray Fog, the travelers' small gathering continued.
"So the residents of the City of Silver are all eating mushrooms now?"
Luther nodded slightly after hearing this. "That really is good news for them."

Klein looked a little strange, as though merely hearing the word "mushroom" made him instinctively uncomfortable. After all, he had seen Frank Lee's peculiarities firsthand. The man's values were so twisted that even cultists would have been impressed.

Klein sighed, then frowned slightly. "But does that make sense?"
He had a vague feeling something was wrong.
"Doesn't it?"
Luther thought for a moment before answering. "Anthony is a Sequence 3. He's certainly powerful, but he isn't impossible to deal with. The Psychology Alchemists have Hermes, a Sequence 2 Angel. Adam himself might even have stepped in. They could definitely have controlled Anthony."
"That's not what I mean." Klein shook his head. "As one of the nine Archbishops, and a Sequence 3 at that, he's qualified to attend the Council of the Gods under the rules! Even if Saint Anthony was controlled, wouldn't the Goddess notice?"
