Luther spoke in a low voice.
He was at Bansy Harbor's port, facing the mist-shrouded mountain on the island.
"Heh heh... has His Excellency the King of Blood finally found the time to chat with me?" The Red Angel's mocking laughter rang out from within him. "I thought you'd committed yourself to being Evernight's dog."
"Cut the crap. You know why I called you."
Luther turned his hand over and produced a vial of crystal-clear blood. "Let's make a deal. Tell me the advancement ritual for Trinity Templar, and I'll give you this last vial of blood."
When Luther had first been searching for the Sequence 3 formula, the Red Angel Evil Spirit had claimed to possess the Trinity Templar formula. But wary of Medici's deceitful nature, he had ultimately chosen to trade with the Church of Evernight instead. Now that route was closed to him, he could only come back and negotiate with Medici.

Luther sneered.
"Medici, you should know that threats are what I hate most, even from gods." If stronger opponents hadn't driven him to such madness, he would have stayed with the Church and waited to advance under the Evernight Goddess's protection. "Keep talking nonsense, and I won't mind inviting you to take a nice long bath in the sea."
