11.34, The Situation on All Sides
In the vast, boundless Universe Ocean, endless chaotic currents filled the void. A towering, unbroken mountain range floated in space, made stranger by the clouds drifting around it. This was the Cloudwave Mountain Range, one of the lesser perilous regions of the Universe Ocean outside the three great danger zones. Yet apart from some Universe Masters, Universe Supreme Masters rarely came here, because there was little worth gaining.
Upon a cloud-shrouded mountain peak stood a strange, towering circular structure wrapped in countless vines. Inside its spacious hall, a cold-faced, golden-robed one-horned man looked at the respectful alien Universe Master before him.
"After all that trouble to capture a Universe Master from the Hong Alliance connected to the humans of the Primal Universe and enslave him, I still got very little information." The golden-robed, one-horned man was somewhat irritated.
In the Universe Ocean, experts of the Human Race were now almost nowhere to be seen. Those who appeared were nearly all Hong Alliance experts.
Although the Hong Alliance had also received instructions from humanity, and most Universe Masters obeyed them, some refused and stubbornly went their own way. Humanity said little about this. Everyone was responsible for their own actions. If something happened, the Hong Alliance would not clean up after them.
The alien Universe Master before him was one such arrogant Hong Alliance Universe Master. He was called Lord Youdu, a top-tier fourth-stage Universe Master. His strength was considered decent among Universe Masters, but before a Universe Supreme Master from another Universe Ocean with terrifying soul techniques, he had no ability to resist. He had been controlled almost instantly.
