Background / History

Creation and early survival

Nuwa created the Human Race from the Creation Cauldron, granting its members souls, intelligence, and the Dao charm of the human form. Upon receiving their name, the newborn humans recognized Nuwa as their Holy Mother. 1949

Despite their Innate Dao Bodies, the early Human Race was weak, lacked an inherited cultivation system, and could be killed by ordinary storms, cold, hunger, or hostile creatures. Later generations were weaker than the first humans personally created by Nuwa. 1950 1951

Suiren created fire by drilling wood, Ziyi created clothing from animal hides, and Youchao developed houses. Their achievements earned heavenly merit and established the three as the Human Race's foremost ancestors. 1951 2363

Cultivation and self-reliance

Chu developed a seven-realm martial cultivation system specifically for humanity: Houtian Body-Tempering, Xiantian, Acupoint, Martial Golden Core, Five Viscera, Life Soul, and Martial Saint. The system gave the Human Race a path to defend itself and received heavenly merit when it was spread. 560

Xuantian later founded the Martial Dao and became known as the Martial Ancestor. Under his leadership, humanity gained the strength to contend with—and eventually surpass—the Witch and Demon Races. 1871

Xuanyuan unified resistant tribes, reformed the Human Race's territorial system, and led the war against the Western Lands. Cangjie’s creation of writing strengthened Xuanyuan's legitimacy and earned Cangjie the title of Literary Ancestor. 1967

Following the Three Sovereigns, Zhuanxu, Di Ku, Yao, Shun, and Yu the Great led the Five Emperors era. Yu established the first Human Race dynasty. 1969

Wars and expansion

The Human Race suffered repeated attacks by the Demon Race, including the massacre caused by the ten Golden Crow princes. In response, humanity declared that humans and demons could never coexist and chose open resistance despite its inferior overall strength. 1953

During the later blood calamity, the Demon Race and Witch Race both moved against humanity. Xuantian's intervention reversed the battlefield and established the Human Race's rise as unstoppable. 1661 1662
