"I ask you, Su Mo, Grand Marshal of the Soviet Union: are you willing to become Heroic Spirits under our command and serve us?"
"What do I get for working for you?" Su Mo narrowed his eyes. He did not agree immediately. Gaia and Alaya clearly wanted him to work for them, and he would not accept without benefits.
"The benefit is that you can regain your youth and travel freely between worlds without having to remain in the Hall of Heroes forever. Isn't that enough?"
"Not enough. I want a physical body. I want to be resurrected. And I don't want to remain a Heroic Spirit forever—I want to become a Master who can freely summon Heroic Spirits to fight as well!"

Chapter 3: I Became the Heroic Spirits' Backbone?
The Hall of Heroes was an eternal place created by Gaia, transcending the limits of time and space and connecting the past to the future. It was linked to every Heroic Spirit's Throne. Put simply, it was a manpower dispatch company that provided food and lodging. Most importantly, every Heroic Spirit here could answer summons from all parallel worlds—even worlds that were not Earth!
The Throne of Heroes transformed into different landscapes according to a Heroic Spirit's inner image: a barren land filled with swords, a battlefield covered in yellow sand, a golden treasury overflowing with wealth, or a dark city where shadows blotted out the sun!
As for Su Mo, a newly born Heroic Spirit, you surely thought that the scene manifested by his Throne of Heroes would be a savage battlefield filled with war, blood-soaked earth, and piles of severed limbs, right?
Wrong. Su Mo was not a war maniac. He had long grown weary of war during his life. To him, nothing was more comforting than a quiet villa.
After successfully extorting a physical body and the identity of a Master from Gaia, Su Mo carefully examined what Gaia had given him—the Heroic Spirit System!
This thing was much like a mobile game called FGO that he had played before. It was divided into two parts: the most important was the summoning function, followed by the upgrade function.
Summoning required one Summoning Ticket. One Summoning Ticket refreshed each day, allowing him to summon one Heroic Spirit from the Hall of Heroes to descend and fight. A summoned Heroic Spirit could remain for one day before returning to the Hall of Heroes. (Previously summoned Heroic Spirits could be summoned repeatedly with Summoning Tickets.)
The upgrade system was used to increase the power of Su Mo's own skills and Noble Phantasms. Noble Phantasms ranged from level 1 to 5, while skills ranged from level 1 to 10. Upgrades consumed Mana Crystals. There were three ways to obtain Mana Crystals: killing enemies, completing tasks assigned by Gaia, and earning them through contributions made to the world!
After reading the Heroic Spirit System's introduction, Su Mo finally checked the abilities he possessed as a Heroic Spirit.
