The five of them entered the Martial Academy again, each with their own thoughts.

This time, there were half as many people.

After all, not everyone wanted to join the Three Prefectures Department.

Ye Kang looked around. Wen Yuanqing, Yin Xingtang, Yang Yan, and the others were all there. For them, joining the Three Prefectures Department wasn't necessarily a must, but honing their martial skills here certainly couldn't hurt.

As before, Teacher Gongsun came out. Seeing that no one else was coming, he grinned. "Looks like you're all the fools we're getting this year."

Everyone was taken aback. How had they become fools?

Teacher Gongsun chuckled. "The Three Prefectures Battle Method is incredibly grueling to practice. It'll put you through the wringer. And even if you make it into the Three Prefectures Department, it's still fraught with danger. One slip, and you'll lose your life and your cultivation. That's why I called you fools."

As soon as he finished speaking, the Martial Academy's gates slammed shut.

"But it's too late to change your minds now. Your Student Tokens have already recorded your choices. From this moment on, there's no turning back."

Everyone looked at the pendants hanging at their waists.

These were Student Tokens, much like student IDs.

They not only recorded personal information but also served as communication devices. Now, three characters had appeared on each Student Token.

"Martial Academy Student."

Quite a few people drew deep breaths, their expressions solemn.

"Follow me," Teacher Gongsun said.

Everyone followed him into the Martial Academy's Training Ground.

As he walked among the students, he said, "Now that you've entered these gates, give it your all. I'll demonstrate the power of the academy's three great battle methods!"

With a rumble, the same group of young instructors descended.

One young man stepped forward
