The Wu Court's central stronghold in the Ninth Ruin Realm, meanwhile, was the Black Light Sea. In the endless, dim void, a vast black ocean stretched out before the eye.

The ocean spanned several light-years, its waters surging and churning, at times rising into towering waves.

Above the endless black ocean floated palace after palace, each radiating a powerful aura. They were all residences of the Wu Court's experts.

Two figures streaked across the sky. At their head was a black-robed figure. His perception was extraordinarily powerful, and he easily sensed the many powerful auras above the black ocean.

"There are so many formations, too," Wu Yuan murmured.

He could sense that the space above the Black Light Sea, as well as the depths of the ocean, was faintly dotted with countless formations.

Even from afar, many of the formations made him wary. They could clearly pose a threat to him.

"True Saint Wu Yuan, we've arrived at the Black Light Sea," the Purple-robed Man said respectfully.

"Thank you for the trouble," Wu Yuan replied with a slight smile.

The Purple-robed Man was named Sha Lai. His Life Aura was at the Saint level, and he was a Saint who ventured through the Ninth Ruin Realm on behalf of the Wu Court.

Several months earlier, when Wu Yuan had approached the Black Light Sea, Saint Sha Lai had come to meet him and escorted him straight to the deepest
