Background / History

Wu Yuan was a Martial Dao Grandmaster from another world who transmigrated into the body of a Li City youth. After awakening, he gradually integrated the former owner’s memories and accepted Wan Qin as his mother. His father had died in the Hengshan Campaign eight years earlier, leaving the family impoverished and vulnerable to pressure from other Wu Clan branches. Wu Yuan resolved to support Wan Qin and protect his younger sister, Wu Yijun 1.

Rather than expose his abrupt transformation, Wu Yuan attributed his rapid improvement to “opening one’s senses” and cultivated discreetly. He initially sought victory in the Martial Academy Grand Competition for its prize money and a path into Yunwu Hall, but his ambitions soon grew beyond the regional academies 1 29.

His cultivation consumed vast quantities of Body Tempering Pills, then higher-grade resources such as Ancient Immortal Dew. During the Fierce Tiger Gang crisis, he contributed his remaining silver to the Wu Clan and later became central to its rise in Li City and Yunshan 14 16 96.
