This arc's outline was revised twice. Overall, I think it came out fairly smoothly, though there are naturally many parts I'm still dissatisfied with.
I barely managed to explain some of the plot holes from before. The main problem was that there were simply too many holes; patching them up meant keeping the plot coherent while also preventing new holes from appearing. After all, if I kept digging more pits, I truly wouldn't have the energy to fill them in.
The next arc will settle Dragon Lord, establish the Heavenly Court, and venture beyond this starry sky. This is also where the outline of this book leads, so according to the original plan, it was meant to be the grand finale, with the later plot left blank.
But I've seen many people leave comments wanting to see what happens afterward. Still, I feel that continuing would only turn into a story within a story within a story, and it would be easy for the writing to collapse. We'll see how things go.
My plan is for the next book to be set in the Great Universe Era, billions of years after this one, and to use Wang Ping as a mythological figure to fill in the gaps.
Of course, all of this is only a plan. Nothing has been finalized yet.
