The fighting settled into a tense stalemate before the Rebels launched a massive assault that forced the Dao Palace forces to retreat, while a mysterious Wood Spirit power resisted Di Wen’s strike.

• Wang Ping received Yuanwu’s intelligence about the Outer Realm, fought Di Wen to a standstill, and joined Xuanqing and Lieyang in a secret pact to investigate the threat.
• The True Lords formed a coalition against the Rebels, but Wei Ling and other demonic cultivators unleashed Mo Sources and Wunian, while Wang Ping helped suppress them with the Five Elements Yin Yang Rules.
• Wang Ping investigated a Chaos Storm created by Jiutian Pavilion and learned that the True Lords were considering using Fifth Realm cultivators’ spirituality to fuel the Star Sea rules.

• Wang Ping battled Lieyang near the sun, defeated him with the Golden Armored Soldier’s help, and left Xuanqing and Bai Yan to oversee the True Sun Sect as the Demon Star descended into turmoil.
