The Human King's Summons (Part Two) (Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! May your whole family be happy! Please subscribe!!!)
Xia City.
The enormous nest rose like a solitary peak.
Deep within the cavern, the immense shadow had already been torn into countless fragments. Its densely packed limbs, sharp teeth, and vertical pupils were pinned in place by arrow after arrow, Sword Qi, saber intent, curses, poisonous spikes...
The many arms that had once spread out together like flowers now lay scattered in disarray.
Shadows of every size floated in midair, like bubbles of faded color.
As one offensive formation after another erupted, the Main Body of the Heart-Devouring Jue rapidly faded.
Its limbs, sharp teeth, and vertical pupils vanished at a rapid pace. Its aura wavered violently, like a candle in the wind.
The dim bubbles in the air were struck hard and shattered with a boom!
As these fragments of memory fell apart, the entire nest became a bizarre, kaleidoscopic blur.
In a moment, five Human Race members landed on the ground and revealed their forms.
The other Human Race members had all vanished. They had perished along with the fragments of memory, leaving not the slightest trace, as if they had never existed in this world.
Of the five surviving members of the Human Race, the one in the middle gleamed in resplendent golden armor, True Fire blazing around him. His armor was scored with crisscrossing marks, and bones, blood, and brain matter spattered his body. A bloody stench rose to the heavens. The arm gripping his weapon trembled faintly from utter exhaustion, yet his eyes still blazed like torches, cold light flashing as he glanced around, like a sharp blade slicing through hearts.
An unbearably savage aura of slaughter clung to him, impossible to shake off, almost tangible.
Beneath the golden armor, his face could just barely be seen, incredibly old, his hair white with age.
