History

Weak Race of the Primordial Era

The Human Race was originally considered physically weak and was widely treated by other races as blood food or natural prey. Dragon Race, Demon Race, and other foreign Immortals regarded humans as an inferior source of sustenance rather than equals 1784 1792 1839 1857.

Despite this status, humans possessed exceptional teachability and adaptability. Immortal Venerable Yan Xu selected them as subjects for his experiments because surviving humans accepted the resulting cultivation opportunities and continued providing more subjects 1826.

Yan Xu's experiments became the foundation of the Human Race's rise. They enabled the mass production of Eighty-one Tribulation Mahayana cultivators and Immortals, giving humanity an overwhelming numerical advantage during the Primordial Era 1852 1912.

Rise Against the Myriad Races

Human forces organized around fortified settlements, mortal populations, Mahayana cultivators, and newly created Immortals. Their campaigns prioritized protecting and expanding human bloodlines, seizing resources, and eliminating threats from the Netherworld and foreign races 1817 1820 1822.

The Human Race attacked Jian Mu in an attempt to sever the passage between worlds and prevent access to the Upper Realm. Human Immortals repeatedly launched suicidal assaults, using mass self-destruction to break enemy lines and deepen damage to Jian Mu 1891 1910.

Following the Jian Mu campaign, the Human Race swept through the world. Foreign royal families were killed, captured, or forced into submission; their artifacts, texts, bloodlines, and bodies were appropriated as resources 1932.

Consolidation of Human Supremacy

The Human Race conquered the Netherworld, though the campaign inflicted catastrophic losses: eleven ancestors entered, while only ten returned, and fewer than one-tenth of the accompanying army survived 1932.

The nine Patriarchs later attacked Fusang, refined nine Great Suns into Human Race destiny, and left one sun to illuminate the world. They also prevented Xun Mu from becoming king 1932.

With rival races defeated or displaced, human settlements emerged openly across the Panyai Realm. The Nine Great Sects were established and became the primary powers protecting and ruling humanity 1932.

Zhong Kui Lie presides over the Human Race's Primordial Era government as the Human King. He directs military campaigns, oversees the acquisition of Immortal Official Positions, and determines large-scale policies concerning foreign races, resources, and destiny 1820 1821.

The Imperial Capital is humanity's largest gathering place. Immortals and mortals live together there, while high-level cultivators conceal their auras among the population 1820.

The Nine Great Sects

The Nine Great Sects emerged after the Primordial Era wars and later divided into Righteous and Demonic paths due to differing philosophies. Despite these divisions, they collectively preserve Human Race supremacy over the Panyai Realm 1932.

The Liulan Dynasty is one of these institutions. Unlike the other sects, it governs its territory as a dynasty, allowing mortals and cultivators to coexist under a formal official system 387.
