Background / History
Parr transmigrated into the body of a ten-year-old human boy, retaining a soul age of twenty and gaining access to a Status Panel. The panel quantified his condition, abilities, and energy reserves, and allowed him to consume Life and Mental Energy Points to learn or upgrade skills, talents, and realms 1.
He initially lived in Haystack Village with Old Man Jack. After surviving an attack by Walking Corpses and heretics, he chose to remain beside Jack rather than flee. During the crisis, he advanced to Elementary Knight Apprentice and killed the cultist Colin 5 6. He later watched his former mentor, Old Man Rottus, die after the heretic assault on the village 9.
Parr travelled with John, whom he calls Uncle John, hunting heretics and taking adventurer work. Abel, the Four-Star Magician heading Azure Stone City's Adventurers' Association, recognized Parr's exceptional Mental Power and gave him a Basic Meditation Technique; Parr used the Status Panel to immediately unlock the Magic Apprentice path 32.
Recurring dreams eventually introduced him to an Azure Fur Giant Wolf, which identified him as the 37th Inheritor. The wolf explained that Parr must complete four Trials to learn the truth of the Key, a weapon that grows with its Inheritor and may take many forms 71. Parr later discovered that his Black Short Sword could transform into weapons including a long sword, the Stars Long Spear, and protective black armor 121 158 159.
After leaving Fluorescent City, Parr enlisted as a short-term soldier at a dangerous sentinel outpost near Spirit City. He established authority through force, patrolled with Old Peter, and fought the Tiger Bone Tribe's forces 155 156 162. He subsequently used the Stars Long Spear's power to empower Half-Orcs and animals loyal to him, building a capable personal force 175 188 191.
Personality
Parr is highly pragmatic and treats danger as an opportunity to gain energy points. He repeatedly seeks out heretics, bandits, Orcs, and other hostile opponents because defeating them fuels the Status Panel 24 155.
He is tactically observant in battle, using ambushes, terrain, deception, magic, and carefully timed realm advancements rather than relying solely on direct force 45 61 190 191. He is also willing to conceal his true strength, sometimes taking injuries or lying about victories to avoid exposing his abilities 52 69 72.
Despite his ruthlessness toward enemies, Parr shows loyalty toward companions and civilians he considers his responsibility. He stayed with Old Man Jack during the Haystack Village attack, cremated a fallen Church Knight, rescued Wei Wei, and protected Tail after finding her as the sole survivor of an Orc raid 5 17 102 159.
