The young man opened his eyes and sat up in bed. He looked around at his unfamiliar surroundings, puzzled. The next moment, memories flooded into his mind like a tide.

Left-Eye Mangekyo Ability: Seed of Blessing: This ability condenses the user's chakra, ocular power, and other energies into a Seed of Blessing. A creature bestowed with the seed, along with all its descendants, will thereafter become the user's most loyal followers.
It was only a useless, trash-tier Sharingan ability, nowhere near as good as having a system or as powerful as the Rinnegan. But even something that useless could still be of some use.

The Seed of Blessing, this Mangekyo ability, could only be used six times. After the sixth use, the ocular power in his left eye would be completely depleted, leaving him blind. It wasn't a powerful ability, because the Seed of Blessing could only be used when its target was on the verge of death and utterly incapable of resisting.
It couldn't be used to forcefully control someone.
