Bloodbath It Is

As Lin Ming's dark purple Sea of Fire, like a greedy giant beast, devoured all the Soul Bodies rushing toward it and burned them into nothingness, without leaving even a trace of Remnant Soul behind, the originally shrill howls before Human Hall were instantly replaced by a deathly silence.

However, this silence did not last long before it was shattered by a roar filled with towering fury and chilling Killing Intent. Like thunder, the voice boomed from deep within the black palace, as profound as the maw of a giant beast:

"All Heavenly Venerates, make a move and capture these fools who do not know their place! Subject them to Soul Extraction and Refinement, as a warning to the rest!"

The coldness contained in that voice seemed capable of freezing space itself, revealing the uncontrollable rage of its owner.

As the strongest power on the surface of the Middle Continent, when had the Soul Hall ever been attacked at its doorstep, much less had so many of its guarding souls so easily slaughtered? This was simply an unprecedented provocation!
