• Lin Ming gave Ya Fei the Bodhi Primordial Beginning Pill, and her cultivation rose to the Dou Ancestor Realm.
• Lin Ming publicly refined four Marrow Cleansing Pills, then gave them and new techniques to the Mittel Family elders, helping several of them advance.
• Lin Ming opened a spatial passage from the Mittel Family’s Forbidden Area to the Middle Continent and traveled through it with Ya Fei, Xiao Yi Xian, Qing Lin, and Miao Miao.

Lin Ming and his companions entered the Vast Desolate Ancient Region seeking the Bodhi Ancient Tree, rescued Yun Yun and the Flower Sect from the Heaven Nether Sect, and subdued an Ancient Heavenly Demon Python. Lin Ming tempered his body and advanced to the First Revolution, then rode the python with his companions toward the region’s depths.

• Lin Ming assembled the four map fragments, learned that the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame would descend in three years, and began cultivating the Vajra Glazed Body.
• After the Bodhi Ancient Tree appeared, Lin Ming traveled with Xiao Yi Xian and Qing Lin to the Vast Desolate Ancient Region and entered it through the dangerous forest.
• Lin Ming’s group survived a poison-insect fog and several beast attacks before encountering the Heaven Nether Sect ambushing Yun Yun and the Flower Sect.
• Lin Ming killed Demonic Flower Evil Lord and Liu Cang, defeated the Heaven Nether Sect, and joined Yun Yun and the surviving Flower Sect members.

Lin Ming led his companions through the Beast Tide to the Bodhi Ancient Tree, where five Half-Saint puppets guarded its heart. Drawn inside, he learned that a Soul Emperor’s negative emotions had corrupted the tree and prepared to use them to temper his soul while planting information about the Soul Clan’s conspiracy into the trapped cultivators’ illusions.

• Lin Ming prepared to fight when Feng Qing'er and the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan confronted his group, but Jiu Feng withdrew after Lin Ming shattered his Heavenly Phoenix Seal.
• Lin Ming reunited with Xiao Yan and led their combined group to the Ancient Domain Platform, where Xun Er explained the Beast Tide and Hun Yu organized an alliance to cross it.
• Hun Yu’s tactics scattered the alliance, but Lin Ming kept his group together as they fought through the beasts and escaped beyond the boundary that held the tide back.
• The survivors reached the Bodhi Ancient Tree, where Soul Jade warned that a Half-Saint ancestor had vanished after approaching one, and the factions saw the glowing Bodhi heart beneath the canopy.
• Five Half-Saint puppets emerged from the tree, and Lin Ming’s group destroyed one while the other factions fought and eventually defeated the remaining four at great cost.
• A beam from the Bodhi heart pulled Lin Ming, Xiao Yan, Yun Yun, and more than thirty others into the tree, where Lin Ming broke free of an illusion and found its corrupted inner world.
• The tree’s memories showed Lin Ming how a Black-Robed Dou Di’s surviving negative emotions had corrupted it, and Lin Ming chose to use those emotions to temper his soul rather than purify the tree with Bodhi nectar.
