The monster stood where it was and made no further attacks.
Silence. The area around them was utterly silent. All the noise from before had vanished, even the buzzing. It was just like when Di Xin had been studying in class in his previous life and the teacher suddenly walked in.
Still, this monster was probably scarier than a teacher. The worst a teacher could do was throw a piece of chalk or yell at him, but this monster looked like it could actually kill him.
Di Xin also noticed that one of the monster's foreclaws was picking at the dirt. It had already dug a small hole beneath its feet.
