Lin Changqing survived the Witch Clan’s great elixir and tribulation before returning to Kunlun, where he defeated Guang Chengzi and led the Interception Sect to confront Sage Yuanshi. The arc left Lin Changqing challenging Yuanshi on the Sect of Elucidation’s summit.

• Xing Tian defeated the Silver Wolf King and destroyed the Golden Crow phantom, but Di Jun descended and attacked the Witch Clan until Tongtian intervened to protect Lin Changqing.
• After the Ancestor Witches confronted Di Jun, Xing Tian brought Lin Changqing to his tribe, where Lin Changqing entered the cauldron of great elixir and used his Chaos Furnace to refine its power.
• Lin Changqing purged the Witch Clan bloodline Xing Tian had secretly added, absorbed the remaining brew, and endured a lightning tribulation that strengthened his body before his Divine Demon image and Chaos True Dragon Qi absorbed its thunder.
• Lin Changqing returned to Kunlun and found Guang Chengzi attacking Yunxiao and the Interception Sect disciples, so he defeated and captured Guang Chengzi and seized the Heaven-Turning Seal.

He later reached the besieged East Sea Dragon Palace and fought to save Ao Ying from the Black Flood Dragon Demon King.

• Lin Changqing confronted Yuanshi over the Sect of Elucidation’s treatment of Interception Sect disciples, and Tongtian arrived to defend his followers and demand justice for the disciple Guang Chengzi had driven to his death.
