Rescue and Academy Life

Bibi Dong first appears while fleeing Evil Soul Masters with her mother, Yu Yan. Her mother draws the pursuers away, leaving Bibi Dong determined to save her parents. Qian Xunji encounters her and carries her toward the attackers to help. Her parents' deaths subsequently become the foundation of her hatred for Evil Soul Masters 144 169.

Qian Xunji initially keeps her near him rather than immediately sending her to the academy. Bereavement leaves her unable to sleep comfortably alone, and he lets her stay in the front hall of his Saint Son's Palace. He later enrolls her at Martial Soul Hall Academy, asking Lin Yan to help her make friends, compete, and develop willpower 148 149 151.

Her talent does not prevent social isolation. Students—and even some teachers—react uneasily to her spider-like possession form, leaving her withdrawn and without friends.
