The Kings' head coach had decided that in the second half, other players would help Bond defend the paint.

But that only addressed their defense. He hadn't come up with a solution for their offense.

Wang Yi said to the coach:

"Coach, we've only solved the defensive problem. What about offense?"

The other players all turned to look at head coach De'Anthony.

De'Anthony looked troubled too.

He was almost certain the Kings' shooting percentage would drop in the second half.

When their shots stopped falling, how would they solve their offensive problems?

He had thought of a few options. One was Wang Yi's mid-range jumper;

another was Bond's presence in the paint;

and the third was Danny's three-point shot.

If Wang Yi's mid-range jumper started falling, he would draw a lot of defensive attention, creating opportunities both inside and out.

But De'Anthony didn't say any of that right away. He knew that if Wang Yi had asked the question, he must already have a solution in mind—and probably one better than the three options he'd come up with.

So he asked Wang Yi, "Stop keeping us in suspense. What's your plan?"

Wang Yi was wrapping his ankle with tape as he replied:

"It's simple. We shoot threes. Everyone shoots threes."

The coach tilted his head. "Are you sure?"

All the other players looked surprised too.

They were almost certain the Kings' shooting percentage would drop in the second half. Having them shoot threes under those circumstances was practically asking for trouble.

But Tures knew their leader wouldn't say something without a reason.

"Boss, I'm with you," he said.

The others waited for Wang Yi to explain.

But when Wang Yi spoke, he didn't offer an explanation.

"Anyway, don't crowd the paint in the second half. Get outside the three-point line.
