Nike's official account had posted a tweet that was clearly taking a jab at Anta.
Chinese audiences had seen it too.
Naturally, they were furious, and they all waited for Anta to respond.
Three days passed, but Anta said nothing.
Fans felt deeply frustrated, but there was nothing they could do.
Meanwhile, Nike fans were posting all kinds of comments:
"Don't say I'm unpatriotic. Nike's quality is just better than Anta's."
"I'm just telling the truth. Nike shoes are more comfortable than Anta's."
Anta fans wanted to hit back, but they didn't have much confidence.
After all, it really was an Anta shoe that had been stomped to pieces.

The Kings played five games in ten days and won all five, jumping straight to sixth in the West.
That meant the Kings would still face the Grizzlies.
By then, everyone except the Yi haters believed Wang Yi was targeting the Grizzlies.
On the Shaq Show, Shaquille O'Neal said:
"Without a doubt, they're targeting the Grizzlies. Wang Yi is targeting them. If anyone still says he isn't, then I can only say they're either blind or have a toilet bowl stuck over their head."
Many people agreed with Shaquille O'Neal.
Yet the Yi haters remained stubbornly in denial. "Do they really think the NBA is their family business? He can pick whatever place he wants to finish?"
"If he really wanted to control the standings, why not put them in first place? That'd be impressive and badass. It'd make more sense than targeting the Grizzlies."
Bales and Nicholas Zhao Si also spoke up:
"Claiming he's controlling the standings? You've got to be kidding me. Maybe teams manipulate their position near
