Anjiali, watching from the sidelines, was cheering enthusiastically.

When the Kings were on offense, she cheered Danny on. "Danny, shoot one! Shoot one!"

When the Raptors were on offense, she cheered Wang Yi on. "Three-Point King, shoot one! Three-Point King, shoot one!"

Miyakawa Maya couldn't take it anymore and shot her a glare. "Which side are you even on?"

Anjiali glared back at Miyakawa Maya. "You little Japanese girl, who are you to tell me what to do?"

She'd learned that line from Wang Yi, too.

Back when Nicole was away for a while, Anjiali had been asked to look after Wang Yi.

One day, Wang Yi was watching a movie in his home theater. A Japanese karate expert appeared onscreen, ruthless and wicked.

Wang Yi had cursed, "That damn Japanese guy!"

Anjiali remembered it.

After that, whenever she and Miyakawa Maya bickered, she would slip in "little Japanese girl" every now and then.

But Miyakawa Maya wasn't about to back down, either. She shot back, "You foreign devil, you fence-sitter, always changing sides!"

Miyakawa Maya had learned that from Wang Yi, too.

Behind the two women, Frank listened to them bicker and couldn't help laughing.

Frank had a knack for languages. After Wang Yi joined the Raptors, Frank had been influenced by him and learned some Chinese.

He naturally knew what the two women had just called each other, too.

The two women heard Frank laughing and turned around in unison to glare at him. "Gay boy, get lost."

Frank shifted a step to the side, looking a little aggrieved. "It's wrong to discriminate against us."

But the two women didn't even bother responding.

On the court, Danny was getting carried away with his three-point shooting. After running to get open, he caught the ball and launched another shot.
