That three-pointer helped the Lakers extend their lead to seven points.
On the Pistons' next possession, Antoine got the ball at the top of the three-point arc.
When he had the ball there, if he wanted to create his own shot, they had to double-team him.
And that was exactly what the Lakers did.
They sent Wang Yi and Bryce James to double-team him.
But faced with Wang Yi and Bryce James, whose heights were so different, Antoine didn't try to evade them. He simply jumped.
He shot a three. At 7'6" tall, with a wingspan close to 7'10", there was no one who could stop him when he shot from the top of the arc.
Only Wang Yi in his prime, jumping with all his might, could probably have blocked Antoine.
And Antoine's three-pointer went straight in.
The lead was cut to just four points.
The Lakers came back on offense. This time, Wang Yi looped around inside before moving out to the left wing beyond the three-point line, where Danny happened to be.
Danny set a screen for Wang Yi, giving him a chance to receive the ball. But as soon as Wang Yi caught it, the opposing Small Forward, Donnie Donnie, and their Shooting Guard, Duke Jin, closed in to double-team him.
Wang Yi seemed to have anticipated their double-team. He gave a quick pump fake, and Duke Jin and Donnie Donnie both jumped. Wang Yi took advantage, ducked slightly, slipped between them, and reached mid-range before rising for a two-point shot.
Wang Yi's mid-range shooting percentage was a staggering 70 percent. The easy shot went in, cutting the lead to six once again.
Pistons head coach Billups watched from the sidelines, his brows knitted tightly.
Wang Yi was in even better shape than he'd expected.
