The escaping light faded, revealing Shi Yue and Yin'er.

"This place is so remote. We'll stay here for a while. Yin'er, stand guard for me while I go into the cave to refine a Spiritually Connected Magic Treasure," Shi Yue instructed, heading toward a cave not far away.
Spiritually Connected Magic Treasures were rather special. Since they had to withstand a tribulation, they couldn't be refined inside Palm Heaven Space.
Yin'er agreed, then offered up dozens of Blue Array Flags. They flashed once and vanished into the ground around the valley.
Next, she took out a palm-sized Blue Array Disk and struck it with several Hand Seals.
A quarter of an hour later, a vast amount of mist appeared out of nowhere, shrouding the entire valley.
Shi Yue took out a Green Pillow, sat cross-legged on it, and brought out the Artifact Refining Material.
He tossed a scarlet skeleton into the air, then tapped the center of his brow. Exotic Fire flew out and enveloped the skeleton.
The Northern Cold Star Domain, Northern Cold Palace.
A White Palace stood atop a snow-covered peak.
On a nearby hill stood a man and a woman. The man had a refined air and wore a green scholar's robe; the woman had an elegant bearing and wore a white Daoist robe.
