Catalyzing Spirit Herbs
Colorful Cloud Flowers faced a major hurdle at the thousand-year mark, making them difficult to cultivate. They were the primary ingredient in many Fourth-Grade Pills, and some Fifth-Grade Pills also required them.
Shi Yue swept both hands through the air and willed the flower to mature, but, strangely, nothing happened.
"Could it be that Senior Xiaoyaozi has to come in?"
Back when Senior Xiaoyaozi was the Tool Spirit of the Heaven Controlling Bead, he had matured Spirit Herbs before. Now that Shi Yue had nearly mastered the bead, he should have been able to do the same. So why wasn't it working?
With a thought, he left Palm Heaven Space.
"Senior Xiaoyaozi, what method did you use to mature Spirit Herbs?" Shi Yue summoned Xiaoyaozi and asked.
"Haha, did you just go in and try to mature a Spirit Herb?" Xiaoyaozi said with a knowing smile.
Shi Yue nodded with a wry smile. "I did. Senior Xiaoyaozi, how did you know?"
"I've realized that the soul fragments and some of the memories I'm missing should be inside Palm Heaven Space. Take me in so I can see if I can recover them. While we're at it, I'll teach you how to mature Spirit Herbs."
Xiaoyaozi had once been the Tool Spirit of the Heaven Controlling Bead, so Shi Yue wasn't surprised that he knew how to mature Spirit Herbs.
Shi Yue had already entered the Void Refining Stage and had more or less taken control of the Heaven Controlling Bead. Without his permission, Xiaoyaozi could no longer enter Palm Heaven Space.
Shi Yue rested his right hand on Xiaoyaozi's shoulder. With a thought, the two of them appeared inside Palm Heaven Space.
"I'm back," Xiaoyaozi said with a sigh as he looked around at the familiar surroundings.
