Background

Xiaoyaozi first existed in the Palm Heaven Space as a mysterious spirit connected to the Heaven Controlling Bead. He negotiated with Shi Yue for Spirit Stones in return for guidance, information, and cultivation methods, beginning a relationship defined by constant haggling and mutual dependence 26 50.

His memories were initially fragmented. He later recalled that his master was True Lord Tian Xu, who sealed the Blood Ancestor in the distant past. When the Heaven Controlling Bead was badly damaged during an earlier crisis, True Lord Tian Xu refined Xiaoyaozi's Essence Soul into the Exquisite Palace, saving him after his physical body was destroyed 1611 1724.

Though Xiaoyaozi initially appeared as a disembodied entity, he eventually regained a physical body and freedom to leave the Palm Heaven Space.
