Shi Yue returned Shi Lin to his Spirit Beast Bracelet. He and Xiaoyaozi transformed into two streaks of light and shot through the air, with the blue giant serpent hot on their heels.
Xiaoyaozi slapped both hands toward the air. Two enormous Yellow Giant Hands appeared out of nowhere with a whoosh and smacked toward the blue giant serpent.
"Damn it. There's actually a Seventh-tier Sacred Beast here. It must have followed you when you collected the magnetic ore vein." Xiaoyaozi frowned.

A dazzling burst of blue light shattered the two Yellow Giant Hands. Fortunately, the blue giant serpent wasn't a demon beast skilled in speed; otherwise, Shi Yue and Xiaoyaozi would have been in trouble.
The Green Luan Bird beat its wings. The space ahead hummed, as though it were about to tear apart, and a black hole several zhang wide appeared out of nowhere.
The blue giant serpent tried to stop them, but a rumble of thunder came from high above. A huge Yellow Thunder Cloud appeared in the sky, and bolts of yellow lightning rained down. Seizing the opportunity, Xiaoyaozi and Shi Yue plunged into the black hole, which quickly healed shut.
The blue giant serpent was furious. It had only recently advanced to the Seventh Tier and couldn't catch up with two human cultivators skilled in escape techniques.
Over a certain stretch of golden sea, Shi Yue and Xiaoyaozi sped across the sky, both letting out a long breath of relief.
